Regular Practitioner Program
After attending an Introductory Workshop or
the Zen JumpStart program, the next step is the
New Practitioner program. After the
New Practitioner program, you are
welcome to
enroll in the Regular Practitioner program.
 | The Regular Practitioner Program at ZCOC provides for 10 to 12 programs per
month of seated meditation, talks, readings, discussions, work practice,
individual instruction, service projects, and socials.
ZCOC offers programs on Koans, Engaged Buddhism and Dharma Films. The Center also provides special programs, workshops, formal tea ceremony,
and community meetings. ZCOC offers regular opportunities for
intensive practice: Zazenkai (one day retreats) and Sesshin (three and
five day retreats). You will receive a detailed schedule of programs every
month.
|
 | Those who practice at the Center may come to all or as many of the
programs as they wish. In order to fulfill our mission, to develop a Zen
practice and build community, regular practitioners are required to attend a minimum
of twice a month, including one samu (work practice) and individual
instruction, as well as to read the monthly e-newsletter to stay up to date. |
 | Fees paid by those who practice at the Center are the primary means of
financial support for ZCOC and are fully tax deductible.
Fees are $70.00 per month.
|
 | You will receive a password for the practitioner website. |
