Book Club

The book club meets every few months, usually on Saturday on Zoom.  The criteria for the book are:  1)  a good read;  2) fiction;  and 3) Zen-themed.  We began in January, 2016 and described the book club as an informal gathering, just for fun, during the social after our Zen Center programs and zazen.  The club usually meets whenever someone has found a good book for us to read!

Please let Carol know if you have book suggestions for future reading or if you would like to be a facilitator for a book discussion.

Anyone may suggest a book and lead the discussion.  All practitioners are invited to attend, even if you have not read or completed the book.  All are encouraged to share their impressions and understandings of the book.  The leaders will give a brief background of the book, why they recommended it, and introduce a few of the Zen themes.
